Supervisors Approve Use of Tobacco Grant Funds for Improving Commerce Park

DINWIDDIE -- The Board of Supervisors approved one of two requests for Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission Grant funds in the first half of its meeting Tuesday.

The first request came from William Scheid, director of code compliance, for improvements to the commerce park site, at the intersection of U.S. Route 460 and Interstate 85, and the purchase of options at a proposed heavy industrial site near Collier Yards.
