Summary


Well, the big chicken barbecue was a grand success, the chicken was wonderful. Everyone I heard talk about the dinner said the same, cooked to perfection. You can't beat those Methodist men, they are the best, and of course, too, they've got a secret recipe.

How about all the bears in the news, a big bear came to Petersburg on High Street. I never thought I would ever see a bear in Petersburg. I wish one would come to my house, I've got something for him and the big black pot is ready. You know 'tis the same with a bear as 'tis with an outlaw, shoot first and ask questions later. Just kidding, I wouldn't shoot the bear, but I would like to see him; more and more are coming all the time.
