PETERSBURG - After years of effort, it appears one of the city's most iconic structures will be redeveloped into what backers hope will be a signature restaurant in Old Towne Petersburg.
The Petersburg City Council has authorized City Manager William E. Johnson III to enter into a lease of the Farmers Market building on Old Street. The council voted unanimously Tuesday to enter into a 40-year lease of the building with a group, Farmers Market LLC, to convert the building into a restaurant.See the full content of this document
