HOPEWELL -- Ward 6 Councilwoman and Vice Mayor Brenda Pelham's elections paperwork checked out Wednesday. Pelham turned in the paperwork to have her name on the ballot by Tuesday's deadline, and the registrar's office had to verify a list of signatures to make sure she could appear on the ballot.
The paperwork included a statement of organization, declaration of candidacy and petitions of 125 qualified voters in Ward 6. Everything was found in order, Hopewell Registrar Pam Clark said.See the full content of this document
