Mrs. Pauline N. Hughes, devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and, above all, servant of God, peacefully entered into eternal rest Saturday evening July 12, 2008, at the Southside Regional Medical Center.
She was born to the late Thomas and Mary Watkins. She was blessed to have been reared by the late Silas and Fannie H. Bonner in Stony Creek. She was educated in the Dinwiddie County School System and was a graduate of the Southside High School Class of 1961. Upon graduation, Pauline attended the Smith and Massey Business College, Richmond. She later moved to Queens, N.Y., in effort to expand her opportunities.
