Norovirus the Culprit at Tussing

COLONIAL HEIGHTS -- The Chesterfield Health District has confirmed that the norovirus was what affected students at Tussing Elementary School.

A week ago about 140 students missed class because they were sick and 60 to 65 became ill during class. The school has a student body of about 660 students, including those enrolled in pre- kindergarten. Due to the rapid outbreak of the illness among students and the investigation to determine what caused it, the school was closed Friday.
