Mary E. Radcliffe Goodwin, 88, of Colonial Heights, died July 27, 2007.
She was the daughter of the late Grover Miles Radcliffe Sr. and Thelma Guida Bennett Radcliffe, and stepdaughter of the late Annie Radcliffe. She was a member of the Cameron Avenue Church of Christ and retired from Southside Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Goodwin was born in Hopewell, Va., and lived in the Petersburg area until she moved to Washington, D.C., where she worked for the Naval Department during World War II and met and married James in 1943.
