Summary
Katherine (Kaye) Bell, 93 of Colonial Heights died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007. She joined the love of her life and husband of 69 years, John J. Bell who died Dec. 1, 2006. She was the last to survive of the 13 children of Anna Smarega and Andrew Zeleznak Sr., of Koppel, Pa. "Kaydee" as she was called by her family was a multi talented loving woman who made a wonderful home for her husband and children in Beaver Falls, Pa. Most of their lives were spent in western Pennsylvania, where she enjoyed a good game of bridge. Upon retirement they traveled and later settled near their daughter and granddaughter in Colonial Heights. Kaydee fought a tough battle with Alzheimers/Dementia over the last six years of her life.
Thanks to her wonderful caregivers first at Dunlop House and later at In Home Adult Care in Ameila. A very special thank you goes to Jane and April Easter and staff for the very special care they gave our mother during the last year of her life.
