DINWIDDIE - At 3:47 p.m. Friday, a house fire was reported in the 12000 block of Trinity Drive in Dinwiddie. The first unit arrived at 3:57 to find a single-story residence fully involved in fire.

The fire was initially reported by a passerby who indicated the home may have been occupied. The occupants of the home were later determined not to be at home at the time of the fire and were uninjured. Unfortunately, two family dogs perished in the fire.
