On Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, heaven called one of its angels home, Gladys "Big Ma" Gregory. A funeral service will be held at noon today at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, 800 Augusta Ave., Petersburg. The Rev. Dr. Wesley K. McLaughlin, pastor, and the Rev. Virginia Graham, pastor of God's Mission of Faith, Ettrick, officiating. Interment to follow in Dinwiddie Memorial Cemetery. Honorary and active pallbearers are asked to assemble at 11:30 a.m. at the church. The family will assemble at 11 a.m. at the residence of her daughter, Arvitta Battle, 2118 Ferndale St., Petersburg the day of the service. She may be contacted at (804) 733-7534.
