MECHANICSVILLE - Farm Credit customers in this area will share in a total of $1.39 million in patronage refund checks. The agricultural credit cooperative is returning over $5 million this year to farmers and rural residents who use its services in eastern Virginia and southern Maryland.

Congressman J. Randy Forbes of Virginia's Fourth Congressional District joined Farm Credit directors and local farmers to announce the distribution of $1,392,000 of this patronage refund in his district.
