COLONIAL HEIGHTS -- The flu is on the minds of many Colonial Heights residents right now, and trying to find flu vaccinations is a top priority for many families. A large number of people even went looking for the vaccination at Swift Creek Baptist Church Saturday, but this weekend, flu shots were nowhere to be found.

Volunteers at Swift Creek Baptist Church had to turn away more than 100 citizens hoping to get a free flu shot Saturday. The church had planned to offer the shots, free to the public, during its Harvest Fest Health Expo, which was part of an area-wide event, dubbed Operation Inasmuch - churches crossing denominational lines and acting on their faith in serving the community.
