Summary
CHESTERFIELD -- A man behind the wheel in last week's fatal car crash in Chester was driving recklessly and lacked a valid license, police said Monday. They are searching for Jamal Alexander Hall, of Dinwiddie, for his role in the Jan. 18 crash that killed two area teenagers.
Hall lost control of the 1999 Dodge Avenger he was driving on West Hundred Road, causing the car to jump the median and strike a fuel oil truck, said Chesterfield County police Sgt. K.E. James. The collision, which left little of the car, killed passenger Derrick Haskins, 16. A second passenger, 18-year-old Rashawn Jones, died hours later at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond. The truck driver was not injured, and Hall was treated and released, James said.See the full content of this document
