Former Rep. Robert Ney, an Ohio Republican, is in federal prison for conspiracy to commit multiple crimes relative to the Abramoff lobbying scandal. Mr. Ney, in effect, sold his office to Mr. Abramoff's clients, a particularly egregious abuse of office.
