Summary
This week, the Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to solve a credit-card theft and fraud case.
Between 8 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, a woman visited two locations, the Hardee's at 12401 Jefferson Davis Highway and the Wal-Mart store at 12000 Ironbridge Road, and left her purse unattended during those visits. At 12:45 p.m., she attempted to pay for items at the Wal-Mart store and realized her wallet was gone. She contacted her credit-card company immediately, only to discover that the card had been used at three different locations in Chesterfield County, with a fourth transaction being declined. One of the locations, the Food Lion at 7032 Commons Plaza Drive, was able to capture images of a suspect using the card to purchase a carton of Newport cigarettes.See the full content of this document
