CHESTERFIELD - Chesterfield County residents and businesses with a Petersburg or Colonial Heights mailing address may soon have the option to switch to a mailing locale: South Chesterfield.

County officials are proposing a change in ZIP codes that would reflect where residents and businesses are actually located. For southern Chesterfield County, that means giving people and businesses the option of dropping Petersburg and Colonial Heights from addresses.
