Mr. Charles B. Wilson, 67, of 1236 Hinton St., Petersburg, departed this life Sunday, March 18, 2007, in Southside Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 30, 1939, to the late Woodrow Sr. and Josephine Wilson. Charles was a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church, Petersburg. He was an employee of the Petersburg Public School System. Charles was a devoted fan and follower of UVA. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Helen White and Cora Lewis.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted wife, Margie A. Wilson; four devoted children, two daughters, Deborah Humphrey (Samuel Sr.) and Daphne Fobbs (Johnny); and two sons, Ronald Crews and Louis Abraham Jr. (devoted daughter-in-law Twanda); extended children, Verline Crews, Ireatha Barber (Troy), Charles Crews and Joseph Crews Sr. (Judy); five brothers, Woodrow Wilson Sr., Edward Wilson (Diane), Sherman Wilson (Sherrie), Michael Wilson and Guy Wilson (Sandra); nine grandchildren, Tavaris, Samuel Jr. (personal friend, Dominique), Vidale, Shantel, Dionco, Shanae, Atiya, Jasmine and Kori; one great-grandchild, Denari; one goddaughter, Tierra Lewis; one aunt, Mable Talley; five sisters-in-law, Arlene Hill, Elizabeth Jackson, Lucy Jackson, Minnie Cole and Beverly Jackson; four brothers-in-law, Harold, Melvin and Ronald Jackson and Washington Lewis; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, among them devoted, the Rev. Horace Parham, Grover Cheeks, and Ronnie Moody.
