DINWIDDIE -- A Halifax County man who pleaded guilty to failing to renovate a church was sentenced to more than two years in prison yesterday and ordered to pay more than $26,000 in restitution.
William D. Bottoms of Virgilina pleaded guilty in October 2008 to two counts of failure to perform construction and one count of failure to appear.
