PETERSBURG -- The School Board voted 5-0 in favor of allowing Cassandra Burns' Diamond Sports League to play in the gym at Vernon Johns Middle School at no cost.

While Burns, the commonwealth's attorney, will not have to pay for the use of the facilities, she will have to pay for any overtime janitors need to clean up after the league games, which will be held twice a week for at least the next 10 weeks.
